Adam Rippon and NYC politician sing Carly Rae Jepsen at Pride event

Olympic gold-medalist Adam Rippon joined forces with New York City Council Speaker Corey Johnson for a quick 15-second lip-sync of Carly Rae Jepson‘s anthem ‘Call Me Maybe.’

During a Pride Month event near the steps of New York City’s Hall, the two couldn’t help but record the fun moment:

The event, which was meant to honour Rippon’s work on behalf of several charities, in addition to his inspiring presence within the LGBTQ community, took place on June 8. Johnson, who represents Greenwich Village, Chelsea, Hell’s Kitchen, Hudson Square, Flatiron, Times Square, Columbus Circle, is a prominent and respected LGBTQ advocate in the city.
