Ryan Murphy is being honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, it’s been announced.
You know Murphy. He’s the man behind some of your favourite TV shows, like Glee, American Horror Story, American Crime Story, Feud, Pose, and 9-1-1.
Murphy’s star will be unveiled at a December 4 ceremony, which expects to see RuPaul, Jennifer Lawrence, Shonda Rhimes, and Taraji P. Henson in attendance.

His star will join those of other LGBTQ celebrities and icons, like Ellen Degeneres, Nathan Lane, and Elton John.
Murphy is a multi-Emmy Award winner and, this year, was honoured with the Trailblazer award. During his acceptance speech, he spoke about how his dreams of making it in Hollywood were almost for not and that he was told he was “too weird, too faggy, too unusual,” adding that his voice and mannserisms were regularly made fun of during meetings.
Congratulations on the incredible achievement!
