Nicole Maines is ready to make a splash on Supergirl as TV’s first transgender superhero, Dreamer.

Dreamer will make her first appearance on the January 27th episode of the The CW series based on DC Comic’s kryptonian girl of steel.

The network released the first look at her kick-ass costume:

The episode will explore the origins of Dreamer’s (known to most as Nia Nal) precognitive powers.

Introduce in the fourth season, Nia Nal joined CatCo as a reporter and quickly fell under the guidance and mentorship of Kara Danvers (Melissa Benoist).
