Avengers: Doomsday is less than a year away. Actually, 11 months, 24 days and some odd hours and minutes, to be a bit more precise.
In the new teaser for Avengers: Doomsday, Marvel confirms that everyone’s favourite captain, Steve Rogers (Chris Evans), will return to face Doctor Doom.
When we last saw Captain America at the end of Avengers: Endgame, he had traveled back in time and chose to live the life he’d always wanted with Peggy Carter. Now, it seems we’re going to get a glimpse of Steve living that life.
The teaser shows him riding up to a home (the same home we saw him dancing in with Peggy at the end of Avengers: Endgame) on a motorcycle. When he slowly takes his helmet off and hangs it on the handle of the bike, we see a thick gold wedding band on his finger (hello, husband!). Steve then walks through the front door of a house, takes a moment to admire his old Captain America outfit before finally ending up in a nursery where he holds a newborn baby in his arms. The soft smile and look of contentment on his face are unmistakable.
The teaser ends with a black screen and the words “Steven Rogers Will Return in Avengers: Doomsday.”
As to how Steve will show up in the film and what his part will be, that remains to be seen.
But we’ll never say no to another two and a half hours of quality time with America’s Ass.
