A new group of men are coming together in hopes of finding love on season 2 of the hit Netflix series, The Boyfriend.
The streamer recently released official photos and bios of the men, ranging in age from 20 to 40, who will live and work together in wintery Hokkaido where they’ll live together in a cozy cabin and have the chance to explore “what they want in a relationship and who they each want to become as a partner.” While there, the group will also be responsible for running a peppermint-coloured coffee truck, working in shifts of two (just like the show’s first season).
The second season of Japan’s first reality series to explore same-sex romance returns on January 13, 2026 and will feature 15 episodes.
