Her Christmastime hit, ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You,’ has broken the record for the longest run at number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with an unmatchable 21 weeks at the top of the chart.
But the good news for Mariah doesn’t stop there. The Recording Industry Association of America has also officially recognized the song as the most certified single by a female artist in American history. The organization has awarded the iconic track an 18x platinum certification, which represents 18 million certified units sold or streamed within the United States alone.
‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’ has also surpassed Dua Lipa’s ‘Levitating’ as the longest-charted title ever by a woman artist with 78 weeks.
