
The first season of the breakout series Heated Rivalry, the Crave series based on the bestselling books, has come to an end and we aren’t ready to wait well over a year for more Ilya Rozanov (Connor Storrie) and Shane Hollander (Hudson Williams).

Episode 6 proved to be a tender finale to the first season of Ilya and Shane’s story that’s seen them go from intense hockey rivals to lovers to more over the span of several years of their lives. We saw Ilya join Shane at his cottage, we witnessed emotional conversations, and we locked our eyes to the TV screen when the two of them were, uh, physically intimate.
And the internet isn’t quite over it — and may not be for some time.

Season 2 of Heated Rivalry was previously announced before season 1 even ended. In a video posted to HBO’s Instagram, Williams promises that the next season will be “hotter, wetter, longer.”
